本日は、先日、新たに着任した西高の新しい先生を紹介します。
ＡＬＴのトーマス・レッドパスです！
〔トーマスからのメッセージ〕
Hello everyone!
My name is Thomas Redpath, and I’ll be working as an ALT in Niihama Nishi High School. I am from the city of Liverpool, in the North-West of England - the same city that the Beatles came from! I enjoy hiking and opera, specifically operas by Gilbert & Sullivan. I also enjoy reading, and I am currently reading Moby-Dick by Herman Melville.
I’ve very recently arrived in Niihama, and I’m finding it very hot! Back home, it’s usually cloudy, rainy, and cold, so Niihama is very different. The weather reminds me of visiting my grandparents in California! The landscape is very beautiful, though, and I’m looking forward to exploring it.
I’m looking forward to working with everyone at Niihama Nishi, and I hope to get to know you all soon!
